THE PARIS MONKEY SHOW

From May 3rd until June 5th 2004

Colette, Paris 1er

SITUATION

During May 2004, Colette put itself into the ’lime light’ by proposing the Toyz World exhibition.

For the first time, the big brands of designer toys (Medicom, Toy2R, Adfunture, Crazysmile, Kidrobot, SonyTimeCapsule, Monsterism, Amos, Strangeco etcÂ…) presented together their famous series, in the heart of the Colette store.

CONCEPT

The Toyz World project was organized in association with Artoyz.
La MJC contributed to the exhibition in very specific ways:

-La MJC created the exhibition logo (creative direction by IndesignWetrust).

-The brand Adfunture, already in touch with La MJC before the event was introduced at the Toyz World exhibition. The location in Colette was strategically chosen so that it could effectively present the« Monkey Show ».

-A « Fling The Monkey » toy was created and produced in exclusivity for Colette.

-Eddi Yip, founder of Adfunture brand was invited to the Toys conference, organized by Colette.

-Michael Dupouy, founder of La MJC, was the conference host, in association with Pedro Winter, founder of Headbangers Entertainment.

-A t-shirt « Toyz Fellaz », was created and produced for Toyz World.

GOALS

-Ensuring a good exposure to Adfunture at the Toyz World exhibition.

-Allowing the production of a limited edition ’Adfunture toy’ exclusively for the event.

-Ensuring La MJC’s notoriety as an information media of the Toyz industry in France.

EXTRA PARTNERS

Artoyz, La Johnson.

RESULTS

-Excellent exposure for Adfunture at Toyz World.

-A space entirely dedicated to Adfunture for a beautiful display

-The Toyz Fellaz tee-shirt was sold out from the very first day of the exhibition.
