LA RECREATION,
A LIFESTYLE MAGAZINE TO EXPERIENCE

SITUATION

La MJC introduced its new entertaining and festive night event concept .
La Ré-Création was launched as a «Lifestyle magazine », the occasion to dance on good music under artistic creations projections !

CONCEPT

L a R é- C r éa t i o n i s a n a m u s i n g a n d e n t e r t a i n i n g e v e n t c o n c e p t d e s i g n e d b y L a M J C for different partners, concerned about an audience made of young urban trend setters and opinion leaders.

Its goal
As an urban information magazine, introduce original and diverse artistic arrangements, live, in the form of a particular event.

Its content
High-level shows and artistic staging, in which the leaders of the main urban cultures disciplines take part, in key places of Paris.

Its actors
DJs, urban artists, graphic designers, fashion photographers, photo stylists, art directors, designers and producers

-In the mix, an eclectic line-up, based on artistic diversity and richness:

Demon & Alex Gopher
introducing their group WUZ, for the first time in Paris.

Joey Starr & Dj Spank
leaders of the French rap scene, bringing the hip hop touch that Parisian nights usually lack.

DJ Medhi
adored by the press, presented as the most talented electro musician of his generation.

Pedro Winter :
Daft Punk manager and founder of Headbangers Entertainment (Cassius, Cosmo Vitelli...). Pure musical bomb.

-On the visual front, a melting pot of fashion photos, graphic designs, illustrations, short movies and 3D visuals

MINI

The image produced by WK Interact representing a moving car was displayed. The image was showed on a 7 meters pane and on screens.

EVIAN
The product was available at the bar of l’Elysée Montmartre and graphic designs of the bottle by Weeliam were displayed on giant screens

PLAYSTATION 2
Display of several interactive games consoles at l’Elysée Montmartre.

BUDWEISER
The product was available at the bar of l’Elysée Montmartre and a limited edition
tee-shirt La Ré-Création/Budweiser was offered to the first 100 guests.

GOALS

- As an urban information magazine, introduce original and diverse artistic arrangements, live, in the form of a particular event.

- Develop and value the partners image Valoriserin the opinion of an audience made of trend setters and opinion leaders.

- Generate and integrate images for La Ré-Création partners to communicate, via the event’s actors intervention.

-Build an artistic magazine to be projected on wide screens, associated to live electro music DJ sets.

RESULTS

- For this first edition, La Ré-Création brought together 1348 people, including 700 VIPs, directly invited by La MJC and its partners.

- The continuous show displayed on the giant screens and produced in association with Ninety Nine, came around every 29 minutes.

- The evening lasted until 6 am and was a success to all those who rediscovered the meaning of the words mix, diversity, creativity...

- Thanks to its first success, « La Ré-Création » concept has been taken over by partner MINI to lead onto a sequence of trademark« Récré-MINI » parties at l’Olympia Paris, Lille, Lyon, Bordeaux and at the Théâtre de l’Empire Paris in 2004.
